CEOs are seeing the beginnings of a recovery
Still more signs of the recession is in the closing stages. Last week Emory University held a CEO Summit before about 700 people. The dialogue was generally optimistic. Encouraging comments ranged from “we are in the beginnings of a recovery” to “I think we’re off the bottom. I’m not sure we are back to where we want to be.” That said, most of the panel did concede that unemployment will remain high into 2010. Nothing new, as we’ve discussed in the past, unemployment is a lagging indicator. By the time it’s peaked, the market has usually already moved higher.
Yet more sources indicating the recession is coming to its end (the benefit being independent and observing multiple resources of information). Investors need to remain observant for signs, as there will be no "bell rung." Plan for Success & position your portfolio appropriately. Contact us for a Free Financial Review
